Our other inn, the Parsonage Inn, has one room that is accessible.
The George Brooks House is an historic building (circa 1865) with serious challenges with regard to ADA access. The elevation of the main historic building is 20" above the ground which would require twenty feet of ramp on the west side of the building. With our other inn providing ADA accessibility in one ground floor Queen room, we can serve ADA guests.
To help us make the George Brooks House B & B website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
